Hey PBJC USY! I just have to say that the Circle Line Cruise around Manhattan was amazing! We broke all records with attendance and truly represented for our chapter. Our Opening Dance also broke all PBJC records for attendance to a dance! Everyone had a great time. I hope to see PBJC USY attend FALL CONVENTION November 21st-23rd
in Marlboro. This is truly the best way to meet new Jewish Teens from all over NJ, gain leadership training, and have fun. Deadline to submit applications are November 3rd. Contact me for any questions! I look forward to seeing everyone soon. Keep check your e-mails for new upcoming events! Also, contact me if you’re interested in community service opportunities! :)

Kadima (6th- 8th)
Unfortunately Kadima's first ever Amazing Race Scavenger was washed out! It was a real bummer as Kadima was on pace to break attendance records. I am hopeful to reschedule the scavenger for some time in the spring when the weather gets nicer. Although the scavenger didn't take place I would like to thank my cheerleading squad Ilene Thailer, Ellen Walker, Amy Boyer, Andrea Goldsmith, Julie Feldman and Andrea Orris for helping make phone calls. I would also like to thank Susan Geffner, Susan Hoffman, John Mach, Randi Kruger, Sheila Brumer,
Lee Guilder, Jared Levy ,Charlene Rosenbloom and Jodi Benson for volunteering to chaperone for the scavenger hunt.
Luckily there are a lot of great events coming our way starting with the Board Game Bonanza on November 5th and the First Annual Chanukah Party on December 22nd. Please keep an eye out for more information about these Kadima events and many more coming soon in the mail.
It is still not too late to join Kadima! If you would like to join or are a parent that would be willing to help chaperone an event please reach out to Jared Rosenbloom at

El Al News
Here’s the 411…EL AL IS FANTASTIC!!!
In September we had an enormous turnout for our opening event to Magic Quest!
30 kids partied the afternoon away while of course having refreshments and enjoying the day together.
A special thank you to Sandy Gonzalez and Mitch Goldsmith for helping to chaperone our first event!
We truly appreciate the extra help.
In October, El Al traveled to the Florham Park Roller Rink for another fun-filled afternoon!
We had another great turnout, and everyone enjoyed skating and of course, eating!
November’s event is going to have us climbing the walls.
Rock climbing, that is!
On Sunday, November 16th we are headed to NJ Rock Gym in Fairfield.
Cost is $25 per person, which includes round-trip transportation, supervised rock-climbing and of course, refreshments!
Bus leaves PBJC at 2:30, and returns by 5:30.
Chaperones are welcome, so if you’re not busy that day, come see what makes El Al so great!
